Automobile Discounts

15% on Your Auto Insurance Premium

New York Central Mutual has found that our insureds can save up to 15% by raising Collision and Comprehensive deductibles, and changing their liability from a combined single limit to split limits.

We calculated premiums for our insureds across New York State and found that they could save as much as 15% by:

a) raising deductibles from $200 to $500 on Collision coverage
b) raising deductibles from $100 to $500 on Comprehensive coverage
c) considering split liability limits
d) having a $200 Personal Injury Protection (PIP) deductible

Coupler Discounts

The Coupler discount is applicable to Homeowner policies when NYCM or ACIC also carries the Automobile policy. An additional discount is also available if NYCM carries the Umbrella policy.

Age of Home Discount

A discount ranging from 4% to 39% is applicable based on the age of your home.

Home Buyer Discount

A discount will apply if you purchased your home within 12 months of writing your Homeowner policy with NYCM. To qualify you do NOT have to be a first time home buyer.

Renovation Discount

To qualify for this discount your dwelling must be 20 years or older.

• Roof must have been replaced within the last 10 years.
• Primary heating source must have been replaced within the last 10 years.
• Discounts apply for 20 years from installation date.

Claim Free Discount

If you have been insured with NYCM Prestige Homeowner Program for five years, claim free and coupled with an Automobile policy you may qualify for an additional 5% discount.

Retirement Discount

If you and all named insureds meet these requirements you may qualify for an additional 5% discount.

• Are 55 years or older,
• One of you is retired,
• Reside in the residence 10 months of the year,
• Dwelling is insured to 100% replacement value.

Gated Community Discount

If you live in a gated community you may qualify for an additional 5% discount.

Mobile Home Discounts

Retired Discount

Individuals 55 years of age or older are eligible for a 10% additional discount.
Minimum coverage of $15,000 is mandatory.

New Home Discount

Mobile homes three years of age or newer are eligible for a 10% additional discount.
Minimum coverage of $15,000 is mandatory.
