To learn Internet Explorer's Cipher Strength:

  1. Open the Help menu.
  2. Select About Internet Explorer.
  3. Look for the words "Cipher Strength: ###-bit".

If you are using Internet Explorer, you must have Internet Explorer's High Encryption Pack for 128-bit cipher strength.

To learn Netscape's Security Strength:

  1. Open the Help menu.
  2. Select About Netscape
  3. Look for "This version supports high-grade (128-bit) security".

Get the latest version of Netscape.

To learn AOL's Cipher Strength:

  1. Please go to AOL Keyword: Browser.
  2. Look for "Security Level: 128 big SSL (highest security)".
