Automobile Discounts

15% on Your Auto Insurance Premium

New York Central Mutual has found that our insureds can save up to 15% by raising Collision and Comprehensive deductibles, and changing their liability from a combined single limit to split limits.

We calculated premiums for our insureds across New York State and found that they could save as much as 15% by:

a) raising deductibles from $200 to $500 on Collision coverage
b) raising deductibles from $100 to $500 on Comprehensive coverage
c) considering split liability limits
d) having a $200 Personal Injury Protection (PIP) deductible

10% Safe Driver Discount (Deviator)

Are you accident, conviction and loss free?  We can give you 10% off your Liability, Comprehensive, Collision and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) base rates.

10% Coupler

If you have your homeowner or mobile home policy with New York Central you can save 10% on your auto premium.
 

30% Deviator Plus

If you have had no claim activity for 48 months and no convictions for 39 months you may qualify for our Deviator Plus program.  Deviator Plus saves you 30% on the collision and comprehensive portion of your auto premium.

Anti-Lock Braking System Discount
7% discount for Bodily Injury and Property Damage liability, or Single Limit liability, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), Medical Payments and Collision coverage for private passenger vehicles equipped with two or four-wheel anti-lock braking system.

Accident Prevention Course Discount

Multi-Car Discount

Available to those who insure two or more cars with New York Central Mutual.

Resident Student Discount

A discount offered to those insureds who have a son or daughter without a car, at a college over 100 miles away.

Homeowner Discounts

Renovator Program - Save 10% if your home:

• is over 30 years old
• has 100% replacement coverage of $60,000 or more
• was renovated in the last 10 years (including heating, plumbing, wiring and roof)

Special Program - Save 20% if your home:

• was built 13 to 30 years ago
• has 100% replacement coverage of $60,000 or more

Select Program - Discounts up to 35% if your home:

• is 12 years old or newer
• has 100% replacement coverage of $60,000 or more

Protective Devices

• 5% Central Station reporting burglar alarm.
• 5% Central Station reporting fire alarm.
• 3% A police department reporting burglar alarm.
• 3% Fire department reporting fire alarm.
• 2% Local burglar and or smoke/fire alarm.
• 13% Automatic sprinklers in all rooms including closets, bathrooms, attics, and attached structures.
• 8% Automatic sprinklers in all rooms except closets, bathrooms, attics, and attached structures.

You can also decrease your premium by raising your deductible.

Maximum amount of credit allowed for Homeowners discounts is 35%.

Retired Discount

Individuals 55 years of age or older are eligible for a 10% additional discount.
Minimum coverage of $15,000 is mandatory

New Home Discount

Mobile homes three years of age or newer are eligible for a 10% additional discount
Minimum coverage of $15,000 is mandatory
