Web Developer I

DIVISION: Application Development

JOB SUMMARY:
A Web Developer I is responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of web application for the Internet and Intranet. This includes programming and testing of assigned programs in the creation of new processes, while also assisting with the review of the daily internet activity that occurs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology
  • Refine data and format final product
  • Test and develop programming modifications
  • Write and maintain programs as specified in programming requests following established company standards and procedures
  • Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part
  • Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor
  • Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs
  • Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls
  • Write and maintain programming documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Assist personnel from other departments as a computer resource
  • Communicate project status through established procedures
  • Perform daily and weekly surveillance of the created websites for accuracy, availability and security
  • Create non critical web processes through the use of various web programs and tools without guidance and critical web processes with guidance
  • Perform any type of maintenance request and complete the proper documentation in regards to the process
  • Maintain programs as specified in programming requests following established company standards and procedures without guidance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Technical
  • Or an Associates degree and equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working in Web Development
  • Intermediate skill set with Photoshop
  • Knowledge of current web standards
  • Moderate design skills

No Fault Examiner II

DIVISION: Claims

JOB SUMMARY:
The No Fault Examiner assigned to a claim is primarily responsible for the prompt and fair settlement of the loss, within the provisions of the Insuring Agreement and all applicable Insurance Regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review each claim for valid and applicable coverage
  • Establish the scope of coverage
  • Review and analyze documents received on the claim
  • Effectively communicate with all interested parties
  • Identify Fraud Indicators, make necessary SIU Referrals, and direct any necessary investigation
  • Authorize payments/settlements within the scope of coverage and authority
  • Mange the risk through thorough file review and timely disposition

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's Degree or 1 year of Claims Examiner experience
  • Knowledge of the insurance policy, applicable insurance regulations, and basic principles of insurance
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Strong evaluation and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and work independently without direct supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
