Payment Plans

If you are assigned to the New York State Automobile Assigned Risk Pool, your payment plan options are shown below. These payment options are established by the New York State Automobile Insurance Plan and are the only two plans available.

* Service Fees are applied per New York State Plan Rules. Your total policy premium must be at least $300.00 to qualify for the six payment plan.

If you are being billed under the Assigned Risk plan, payments can be made directly to the company or through your producer.

NYCM Insurance offers many payment plans for your convenience. The one payment plan allows you to pay your premium in one installment. With this payment plan you are billed once throughout the policy period. You may also select to have your payment automatically taken out of your checking account or credit card account. Under our automatic payment option for this plan you may select the payment due date (1 - 28th) you would like your installment taken.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the 1 payment plan, you must have an active twelve month or six month personal lines policy with NYCM Insurance. (Commercial and Assigned Risk policies are ineligible.)

Payment Schedule

If you choose this payment plan, your premium will be billed in one installment. For new policies, if a downpayment is made, you will be billed in full for the remainder of your premium due on the effective date of the policy (or the due date you have selected).

For renewal policies, the premium will be due in full on the effective date of the policy (or the due date you have selected).

Service Fee

There is no service fee assessed under this payment option.

Signing Up

If you have further questions about signing up for the 1 payment plan, simply notify NYCM Insurance or your insurance agent.

If you are signing up to have your payment automatically withdrawn from your checking account or credit card account, complete the Authorization Form and return it to us (at the address below) or your agent.

NYCM Insurance offers many payment plans for your convenience.  The 2 payment plan is NYCM's conventional plan that allows you to pay your premium in two installments.  With this payment plan you're billed twice throughout the policy period.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the 2 payment plan, you must have an active six month personal and/or commercial policy with NYCM Insurance. (Assigned risk policies are ineligible.)

Payment Schedule

If you choose this payment plan, your premium will be divided into two equal installments.  50% will be due on the effective date of the policy and the final 50% is due 2 months after the effective date of policy.

Once your application has been approved, NYCM Insurance will send you the payment schedule, which will detail the installments and when they are due. You will receive similar notification any time an endorsement to your policy changes the payment amount.

Service Fee

Under the conventional payment plans, there is a service fee of $5 per installment.

Signing Up

If you wish to switch to a conventional payment method at any time, simply notify NYCM Insurance or your insurance agent.

In order to be eligible for the 6 payment plan, you must have an active twelve month personal and/or commercial policy with NYCM Insurance. (Assigned risk policies are ineligible.)

Payment Schedule

If you choose this payment plan, your premium will be divided into six installments. For new policies, 15% will be due on the effective date of the policy and the remaining balance will be divided equally among 5 installments. The final 5 installments will be due every other month of the policy period.

For renewal policies, the policy premium will be divided equally over 6 installments.

Service Fee

Under the conventional payment plans, there is a service fee of $5 per installment.

Introducing Monoline or Combination Billing (Authorization Form)

NYCM Insurance offers many payment plans for your convenience. The 11 payment plan, known as Combination Billing, allows you to combine all of your qualifying NYCM policies onto one billing statement. This feature is also available for individuals with only one policy with NYCM. With this payment plan your policies are billed monthly under one account. You choose the date of the month--from the 1st through the 28th--on which to receive your bill.

Beyond the basic Combination Billing payment plan, is Recurring Combination Billing payment plan. With this payment plan you can automatically pay your single or combined premiums through recurring monthly payments from your checking account or credit card. You choose the date of the month--from the 1st through the 28th--on which your payment is made.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for Combination Billing, you must have one or more active personal and/or commercial policy with NYCM Insurance. These policies can be either six month or twelve month policies. (Assigned risk, TOP, bill mortgagee, premium-financed, and payroll deducted policies are ineligible). If you are signing up more than one policy for this payment plan, you must agree to combine the policies' separate bills into one bill that combines the premium of each policy signed-up.

In addition to the above, to be eligible for Recurring Combination Billing you must have a checking account or credit card (MasterCard, Discover, VISA), and agree to be on a monthly payment plan. An adequate checking account or credit balance must be maintained to cover your payment(s).

If you choose this payment plan, your premium will be divided equally over 11 installments (for annual policies), or 5 installments (for six month policies).

Once your authorization form has been approved, NYCM Insurance will send a monthly bill letting you know how much your installment will be and when it will be due. You will receive similar notification any time an endorsement to your policy changes the payment amount.

Service Fee

There is no charge to sign-up for Combination Billing. Under the basic Combination Billing payment plan, there is a service fee of $5 per installment (for paper billing only).

You can use Combination Billing to pay for one or more of your NYCM Insurance policies. If you are not currently on NYCM's Combination Bill payment plan, complete the basic plan authorization form and return it to us (at the address below) or your agent.

Introducing On-Track Payment (Authorization Form)

NYCM Insurance offers many payment plans for your convenience. The 12 Payment Plan, known as On-Track, takes the worry out of making your insurance payments or jeopardizing your coverage with a late or missed payment. With this payment plan you can automatically pay your premium through recurring monthly payments from your checking account or credit card. You choose the date of the month--from the 1st through the 28th--on which your payment is made.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the On-Track Payment Plan, you must have either a six month or twelve month active personal and/or commercial policy with NYCM Insurance. (Assigned risk, TOP, bill mortgagee, premium-financed, and payroll deducted policies are ineligible). You must have a checking account or credit card (MasterCard, Discover, VISA), and agree to be on a monthly payment plan. An adequate checking account or credit balance must be maintained to cover your payment(s).

If your checking account or credit card information changes, contact your agent or call NYCM's Customer Service at 800-234-6926.

There is no charge to sign-up for On-Track and no service fee to utilize On-Track billing.
